Postgame Reaction: Bruins Fall to Flyers

I don't like Boston, but I like Jim Montgomery as a coach. He's very level headed and stable. Teams just have bad nights where things don't fall their way.

The Boston Bruins won a Stanley Cup setting up the screen and firing pucks on net. I don’t know what the hell these guys are doing, it needs to change. The lackluster play is completely unacceptable for this market. These guys are playing every night like it’s some throwaway game in Saskatchewan.

Montgomery you're not hard enough on the players. Play the 4th line more n 3rd too. Team are sluggish n lack motivation

I really don't know why they can't mic the reporters. For years we hear just a murmur from a random voice and then the perfectly clear answer from the podium, while having to guess what the question was based on the answer given. A boundary mic would likely work well I'd think.

They were supposed to be more rugged and physically imposing. Haven't seen it much so far this year. Philly came in with the right attitude of winning puck battles, blocking shots and beating the B's to pucks. Made the Bruins look like the club that's 3-6-1.

It's just a talent issue I think. They have a couple of very good players and a bunch of average players.

McAvoy has been a cancer on this team for awhile. Hardly shoots. Just doesn't have the mindset to lead this team anywhere.

There are too many bad passes being made by good players. Turning the puck over at both blue lines and losing the puck in key situations. This team is better than last year’s. It seems they’re not sharp. Who’s to blame? But it’s still early.

Lindholm has1 goal. Not good enough. We signed this guy to put pucks in net. Zacha has been set up a lot and is not burying it. Not good. I would give Brazeau a shot at the 1st line and drop Zacha down. See if Brazeau can bury shot. I think he would be better with net front presense.
