Came for the deer, stayed for the music. Outstanding.

My wife realised she regretted getting married a few months after our wedding. We had an oppsie baby and before our first anniversary our baby was born and before our second anniversary she said she wanted to leave me. This has been my daily cry it out album.

10/02/23 UPDATE: There's been some unsavory comments, and lots of supportive comments. But if you're hear and reading this I wanted to thank all of you kind internet strangers for the support over the last ten months since I first made that comment. Life has been a lot better since that all happened over a year ago. I meet someone new, I moved on, and I still listen to this album on the regular. But instead of watering the garden with my salty tears I know reflect on life, where i've been and where this road is going.

Thanks all!

In my weekly d&d group I play a ranger with a wolf animal companion. I had him with me for a year and a half real time, but about a month ago he ended up killed in battle with a cult we're still fighting with.

With the help of a druid we made friends with we only just in the last session performed a ritual to get him back.

I entered a dreamlike world of moonlight and endless woods, chasing the sound of a howling wolf. I had found his spirit. We ran through the woods together, back to the clearing I entered the dream in.

At the end of it all, he came back. He was resurrected, running out of the nearby woods a new wolf, younger and very much alive.

I had this album playing all throughout. And I don't think I've cried harder over a fictional dog in my life. This record is excellent

I've been living with depression for three years now. Sometimes you're feeling so much emotional pain that you just dont feel nothing else. When I'm feeling like this the only thing that really helps is music. Listening to songs and forgetting about everything else. This is an amazing and honestly magical album. It kinda reminds me of read dead redemption 2 (my favorite game). Anyways, just a reminder that we all have bad days, and sometimes we just need a rest. I hope y'all be safe and confortable.

I got off heroin three years ago and the whole time I've been numb. Then I heard this album today three years later and I can finally feel something again.

I’m on psycho-tropics for mental illness. It’s hard to feel deeply for me. I cried listening. Thank you.

Somehow I always come back to this album.
To me, it's simply a precious discovery that to this day I can't stress enough in words how does it make me feel.
It's not sadness, nor any bad emotion on the contrary, it invokes a strong feeling of SOMETHING I can't comprehend or muster up the words to explain it.
So often times I choose to not explain, just indulge in this completely foreign feeling of being somewhere else for 25 minutes and 18 seconds.

The whole album is beautiful, but that first track just slays my melancholy and those gorgeous notes revealing a fragile yet beautiful melody.

All these songs, including the names remind me so much of my home in Tennessee. The hidden valley that I lived in. The deer that I got to pet and feed when I was a 3. Just a few examples.

There is a peculiar feeling, quite hard to explain. You discover a new type of music, the unique sound and deep down inside, you feel like you've heard it before. Somewhere in you dreams or imagination. I can't even express it properly so i'd just like to thank you. Keep doing this. It means a lot.

This captures the exact feeling of being alone in a forest at night by a small campfire with a cozy tent waiting for you.
There is a certain magic beeing alone with nature like that, feeling the world breath around you. You feel safe but yet exposed, warm on the front, cold on the back, its both magical and scary, its hard to put into words but this album really hits that feeling.

I can really recomend going into the night forest and listen to this.

There was a moment among many in my life, when I felt empty and distant to everything surrounding and happening around me. I was in a party, surrounded by friends. When suddenly I had the urge to retreat somewhere alone. I went to my friends wooden house, laid down to bed, listening to one track to open up why I was feeling so distant. Then, a kitty that usually was really wild suddenly leaped on my chest, on top of my heart. She spiraled there, started purring. Then this album started playing, and oh life I felt it all I had to feel. Silently crying, kitty fell asleep on my chest and we just laid there, listening to this masterpiece in the darkness. One of those experience I probably never forget. Made me realize in the modern day rarely one stops, or gathers and just listens to an album in silence, doing nothing no chatting. I used to do it alot with my friends, not so much anymore. This is one of those albums that you just stop to, breathe and let it wash over you.
Thank you musicians for this, amazing piece of art.
Thank you comment section for genuine and heart felt comments.
Thank you life for having us.
Thank you!

I am listening to this while reading LOTR w a cup of tea. Yesterday I ran 14km straight for the first time since I got long COVID. Later today my mum and I are going to drive down to the mounds that pass for mountains here. I should have my full license within the year, and then my best friend and I are going to go camping together. Heaven.
