I spent New Year's Eve in the snow in the High Fens, Belgium. Join me on a two-day 52km hike in a spectacular winter wonderland. I walked along several picturesque streams: Hoëgne, Trôs-Marèts, Warche, Bayehon, Polleur, Statte…

The High Fens are absolutely incredible in every season. I still think many Belgians underrate how beautiful the area is. Especially the promenade de la Hoëgne, while touristy, is very nice.

What a relaxing and beautiful video! Seeing this I really want to experience it for myself. I went to Baraque Fraiture on new years day this year, in the lower areas there were only some leftovers of the snow, while higher up there was like 30cm of snow. It was truly beautiful, it was freezing, but because of the low amounts of wind, it wasn't that cold.

Amazing footage and great vibes! The trail is truly wonderful, I know the region quite well and it is fun to recognize the places even when covered in a wonderful snowy cover. Thanks for the upload

Top!

Really nice and well made. One question: how many kms you reckon you would have to add, having to walk back and forth each time to fetch the camera?

Je beelden zijn van hoge kwaliteit! Knap.

Wow! I can see a lot of work to make this video! I am guessing you did more than 52 km every time you had to come back for the camera!

About the cold night, have you tried boiling water and putting it into a bottle (aluminium), then put this into the sac? It works literally like a 'radiator' haha
