I think I got mine fixed. There is a one-way valved in the line of the 4 wheel drive system that holds pressure. The mechanic took the valve out and blew in it the direction where air should not pass and it would randomly let air through. He replaced the valve with one off of a new truck and it fixed the issue. He ordered the whole vacuum system that includes the valve and it was back ordered because apparently there are lots of trucks with this issue. He got the system and replaced it last week and I have had no issues since. I believe it's finally fixed and I can enjoy my truck now. I hope you get yours fixed soon.
