I love the distinctions you make about the chords shapes, and how the one-note changes among the major/minor/dominant chords lead you to another chapter of learning and ability. You could spend 15 minutes on some of those things you’re talking about along the way, and I would love it. You’re SO knowledgeable, and I love that you share it with us. Keep Up the Great Work! I'm a higher level beginner just about to reach that lower intermediate level and your playing inspires me to keep going, I'll play and practice anyway, nobody and nothing has to MAKE me do that I just love to play. But watching and listening to you tells me that I'm on the right track and that one day I will be able to converse and explore with the guitar freely.

Of course I will land at your artist works material in time, maybe by the end of this year if things work out right.

The confusion that people have is understandable. On one hand, we're saying not to think in terms of having three 5 chords, but at the same time we're using the arpeggios of three 5 chords. To which I say play 1 minor pentatonic and know where the major 3rds of each chord are. And also the 6th can be useful. Think BB Box.

this may have been the most helpful video I've seen. I play by ear, and honestly, the pentatonic scale never lined up well for me. a few blues songs. but this is awesome! Thank yoU!!

Yes sir Love the snow ❄️ it has really come down here in North Texas, all 254 counties in Texas was hit with a winter storm at one time.. it was colder here then anchorage Alaska .. the snow ❄️ indeed is Beautiful and fun to play in but after a full week of it that cabin fever starts sitting in and your ready to go out and do something lol .. love your playing sir .. Much respect from Texas
