30-40 years ago, someone like me having worked in steel construction since I was 18, I'm now 32, would have afforded multiple houses and investments.
In todays age, it's gotten me to pay off most of a single townhouse with the help of my family, whilst renting out that property for rental income, not even living in it...
That said, "doing something becomes extraordinary" what a crock of shit.

I don't agree with the argument it has never been easier because the competence could be at it's hardest at any sector. My uncle came to a big city from a little village, started construction from the bottom and became contractor. You can't do this nowadays. Gotta working hard for less, cause there is more manpower then before.
