Just wanna say, we might be less vocal, but there are a lot of music theory nerds who appreciate the "technical" language. It really helps making following along much easier!

This 12 minute video kept me busy for over an hour. Easily one of the most helpful guitar videos I've ever seen, and from pretty much every possible musical angle. The tabs let me stop the video and try things, and the hesitant but enlightening sparks of music theory gave it definition. It's always awesome to learn a short piece of music and suddenly realize you have a dozen new things in the tool belt that can technically work anywhere.

I want a 3 hour version of this, with the two of them improvising alternately.

I've been a 45 year singer strummer.
Pick n grin at times but this tutorial alerted me to grow. This tutorial is the best I've ever heard and so well produced. Couched in a friendship of two brethern harmoniously jamming together almost.
The modeling, knowledge and variety expressed between you two is fantastic.
I've never saved anybody's Clinic before until now. Thank you friends.

This... is precisely how you get better as a musician: playing with other musicians. Accept no substitutes.

Rotem's tone is stunning. What a cool video. I love these videos by Paul where he plays a simple idea and then expands on it, and having a guest just makes it that much more fun

There is kind a vibe of “can’t help falling in love” in this.
Beautiful

I’ve learned so much in this 12 minutes that I can’t believe it. What a time we’re are living in that content like this is free for everyone. Thanks Paul for constantly inspiring me!!

The progression fits nicely under the opening vocal line from Elvis’ “I can’t help falling in love with you” (“Wise men say…”). But neo-soul.

I think you guys were accidentally channeling Elvis, with “Can’t Help Falling in Love”. I loved watching you guys work it out, rather than just blowing our minds with a perfect performance. Thanks!

Rotem is such a great player and this simple tune became the foundation for a beautiful piece of music. I suspect Paul absolutely knows his theory yet jocularly plays up the mystery of it.

Wow you two together makes a lot of sense that didn’t before, I hope you two continue to help people like me who are lacking in theory, inversions etc.

We definitely need more videos like this one.
It’s hypnotizing to watch you creating “live”, also it’s really helpful to listen to skilled guys sharing their knowledge

Love it! My favorite style of chords, I used to call these "John Mayer chords" from watching him play years an years ago. I would watch his hands play twister over the fret board and go wth? Now I favor these all the time, great video!!! Great practice material.

I love the contrast between the two near the end when they start improvising since you can hear something like 2 languages merging into one

Love this more improvised style of video! Its always cool to see what you prepared, but this format shows the thought process behind it too

I missed when this came out. But I love when you two collaborate together. The mixture of technical skills and rhythm with beautiful voicing and feeling turns a chord progression into music that I want to listen to all day.
