I am an Asian with light-medium skin colour. I did the Vbeam 5 weeks ago. My face was a bit swollen and a bit red but no red marks in the first week.. It took about 1.5 weeks back to normal. Now, I can see less blood vessels and feel my skin is tighter than before. In the first 1.5 weeks, I had cold sore and some breakouts due to Vbeam (I believed). I will have my second one this weekend. The result is obvious. Thank you for sharing! Good luck on everything!

I had v beam on my face. Took two weeks to recover to the point I could cover VERY dark - eggplant - purple spots all over my face. ZERO results.

I am recovering from V Beam Prima now and it is INTENSE. The treatment was not, but recovery is. Today is Day 5. NEVER again. The bruising and swelling is SO bad that it may take me ten days to get back to normal. I have been hiding out in my Brooklyn apartment this entire time. The dr did a great treatment, but I am supposed to do a total of three. Nope. Going back to IPL.

Thanks for the video. Its disappointing that there was no change in the broken capillaries even after 1 treatment. I was thinking of doing this because mine are very bad but if its not going to help, there would be no reason to pursue it. Im kinda bummed out because i was looking for information on good outcomes from this treatment.

This is my favorite laser. It is the gold standard for redness. It will even remodel scars. It gives a nice plumpness in the under eye area. I am 58 and have been getting treated with it for more than 20 years. I usually take a Medrol Pak or 50 mg of prednisone STAT. It helps with the swelling on the face. I have been treated on several areas of my body. The face is the only place where I get any swelling. You need at least 3 treatments to show results.

Im on my 2nd treatment and yea im still red cus i got treated today and i hope the redness fades off completely by the 3rd time

Just got this done and I am day 3. I look like a blob fish but I can see the hyperpigmentation from the rosacea is down. Why do drs say lite* swelling and no down time needed?! I had a massive headache from the swelling. Thanks for this video I was not prepared mentally for this procedure and my doctor didn’t communicate how much swelling you can experience.

You have filler at your cheeks or it’s the puffiness after the procedure like that?

I am 9 days past my first procedure for rosacea and the intense itching is miserable. Haven't heard anyone else mention that! The swelling only lasted 3 days. It caused my rosacea to go into a full flare-up, which is gradually calming down. I cannot decide whether to go for my next 2 treatments or not.

Wish I had seen this video last week . I had IPL done on thursday 09/11/23 the day before my hen weekend.. big mistake I swelled up so much I was unrecognisable. It’s now day 4 since my procedure and I’m still swollen and my face looks old and jowels more pronounced. I’m 41 and will never get it done again.

I also got Nucleofill a skin booster on the same day and face as tiny bruises .

They want your blood vessels active so that the laser can hit them quite away, that's why they won't numb it =)

Dang! Here us sit the day after. Bright red….and purple…blotches amid a puffed face. And now I learn you were not satisfied with the results. I hope I am happier after several weeks io healing.

I hate my skin …. No clue how to fix it
It’s super dry and tight since accutane in 2009
And it’s always red rashy
Hives blushed ….
Idk if it’s eczema or rosacea
Derms are useless around my area
