Colin Cowherd breaks down whether Curry needs the award. Jayson Tatum 'questioned' if he was the right leader for the Celtics. Is this a sign of weakness for Tatum and the Celtics? Hear why Colin believes players such as Michael Jordan, Shaquille O'Neal, Larry Bird and Kobe Bryant would see Boston as 'weak and not believing themselves.'

Game 6 vs the Bucks this year was “THE game”. That was when this team was truly tested and proved they could win a championship. Tatum went toe to toe with Giannis and scored 46 in a win that went down to the wire

I deeply love the examples and metaphors that Colin strikes. He is the most poetic and my favorite sports analyst.

People who say he shrinks in the finals…I mean damn he’s been in the finals 6 times against the best teams what do you expect?

This did not age well, at least in terms of how game 1 went. Celtics def didn’t doubt themselves

Iggy got that MVP not because he "held, " LeBron to 36 ppg but because he held him to under 40% shooting (.398). That's why he won it.

Colin is d-riding the Warriors because Draymond is on his podcast network. Warriors win, Draymond wins, therefore Colin wins.

i dont understand your take on Boston's reliability in themselves. why would they doubt themselves and their ability after jumping out to a big lead? wouldnt that make them more confident because they're up so much?

the warriors had a 3-1 lead on Memphis and lost by 40 in game 5 without Ja even playing. thats worse than anything Boston has done this entire playoffs. why do they not doubt themselves?

Fun fact, every Sports show is talking about how this Guy is so great and how not having the FMVP mean nothing... When you smell smoke there is a fire lol

That was a really bad opening analogy lol. However, Steph is a good finals player, he just doesn’t raise his game. That’s the difference

Coming from a Rockets fan I’ve been defending Steph all year because people have been coming up with all kinds of crazy stuff that downplays Stephs career. He’s been arguably a top 5 player for nearly a decade idk why people act like he hasn’t been great.

The fact that Colin had to explain this says it all..

Here Colin is wrong in one aspect. Michael maybe would never say if he had doubt, but that never changed that he lost to the Celtics in 3. Tatum could be very honest, to a fault, yet he is growing right in front of our eyes. Year 5 in the finals. Not many could say that.

Have he said anything about good team, like, for example, GSW, not blowing 15 point-lead as some lesser teams did, like, idk, Miami? Or maybe Boston is just not as bad as he predicted?

Colin's point about 3 pointers in the finals not being memorable or big time plays is so wrong. Ray Allen's 3 and KDs game clinching 3 in Bron's face are iconic 3s. Steph never made a 3 to that magnitude.

PLUS Steph is the TARGET of EVERY team defense they ever play. Double covered, blitzed, traps and whatever else ...just to stop Steph thinking "the others" will have to win the game.

I am sure all players thought that but Tatum is just brutally honest. Don't really see that as a weakness

Tatum on the court is a killer, good luck making him doubt himself on the hardwood. Dominated Kevin Durant on both ends in iso, outplayed giannis when he needed it, Jimmy couldn't guard him or score on him when needed, jayson is a basketball demon and the best player in the series this will be self evident soon wait
