If you're in Chicagoland and you're watching this - I've got your back!
I’m running $50 garage door tune-ups exclusively for my YouTube people. DM me on Instagram to grab it

Awesome work. Letting the customer watch, actually engaging with him, giving him some little fun facts and upgraded his springs.

Love people that give out random fun facts 🙏 especially while doing a service. I like the attitude you have

My local garage door repairman was exactly like you sir, extremely kind and very knowledgeable and more than willing to give me all the details on the garage door.

Man I love it when professionals are willing to talk to customers about their trade. My Grampa would always have a 10 min conversation with tradesmen he hired when he couldn't fix something and if they were friendly and did a good job he'd tell people about them for years. Sometimes even far after the company went under lol. My dad and I do the same though it seems to be getting increasingly rare to fine ones that are both friendly and do a decent job.

Cheers!

He's like "ah...yeah I'm not going to live beyond 10, 000 cycles..."

You can tell how much someone loves what they do, by how much they love talking about what they do…😊

I'm an industrial commercial door technician as well. I work on all the high-speed doors from rytech Albany I was on the ground floor of the Rbach door while it was in his research and development stage I installed their first door in Chicago at Central steel & wire. But anyways this guy knows exactly what he's talking about he's got a lot of experience

Scale out for proper door weight! Correct tools for efficient and safe work! Understands cycle counts! You earned yourself a follow from me.

Great to see other garage door businesses doing it right and not just tossing up whatever they have rolling around in the truck.

I remember when I was about 13 the spring tensioner broke as the door was going up and the door slammed back down and that thing sounded like a bomb went off luckily tho we have 2 garage doors so after moving my grandpas truck out of his side I had to proceed to do a 30+ point turn in my grandmas car to get it out of my grandpas side of the garage

i really bet the customers appreciate you showing them what’s actually wrong with their door and explaining things. lots of service people would not do that or charge extra if the customer watched, i really respect this work you’re doing and the depth of explanation you provide.

I only hire guys like you to do things at my house who I know will be excited to show me things and explain things to me and educate me. Those who don’t I feel like hiding things and I generally know more than the average homeowner but it’s still nice to have someone professional explain things nicely and show me what they’re doing. In the future, it might be something I could handle and I assume you guys know that, but it’s still really nice that you share.

I love having customers that actually care about the work I do (window cleaning). I know some people find it annoying to be asked questions while they work, but I usually find that the best customers I have are always the ones that hang out and talk to me

Love this I’ve been doing garage doors and repairs since I was 14 I’m 35 now and I love when people inform the customer and really show them what it takes to maintain and repair

This video reminds me of growing up with my grandfather working on garage doors in Minnesota. People are usually very friendly, just want to chit chat. Most of the jobs we did were for eldery people and they always wanted to talk and hangout. Good times. Those springs are scary!!! Heard horror stories about em.

It’s always nice to let the owners know these things because no one else is going to tell em. Most people wouldn’t be bothered to research either
