i don't understand. The software seems to recognise my piano keyboard since the orange thing activates when i touch the piano. BUT when i click the recording button literally nothing happen. Why on earth the red bar doesn't want to moove when i click the recording button...

I know how to record a midi performance using something like a keyboard or virtual keyboard. What I have yet to figure out is how to include any automation with it into the midi file as well as any channel info. I use Reaper but I think I might have a disk with the presonus software here somewhere. Does it record automation?

Great Tutorial..question if I may! I see you used a metronome ? So does this mean if a human being human, , their timing is off, , is that also translated to the finished midi..or does the software automatically tidy the tempo/timing up by virtue of the fact it sets the music into digital musical bars..and hopefully thus making it perfect for the listening ear..Thank you...SALLY
