Adobe Captivate 2019 Video Demo Now With Webcam

In this Adobe Captivate 2019 video, I show you how you can record your webcam in your video demo tutorials for Adobe Captivate 2019.

When I first started creating Adobe Captivate 2019 video tutorials on YouTube, I would use Adobe Captivate 2019 on one screen to demonstrate, while another instance of Adobe Captivate 2019 would record a Video Demo. I switched to Adobe Presenter Video Express at the recommendation of Dr Allen Partridge. He suggested that I could incorporate my webcam into my videos as well. With Adobe Captivate 2019, I can now record my software demonstrations and my webcam view simultaneously in the Video Demo feature. Adobe Captivate 2019 even lets me make my webcam background transparent or replace the background with a variety of different environments.

Hi Paul! Have you ever had any problems with using the Logitech C930e camera with the video demo? I'm asking because I need to exchange my new webcam to another soon. I recently bought a Logitech C920 webcam, tried it with video demo, and it seems that Captivate didn't like the camera's software and kept crashing every time I launched the video demo. As soon as I deleted all traces I could find of the Logitech cam, Video Demo was good as gold. I hope this helps anyone with the C920 cam - it drove me (and probably the Adobe support technicians) crazy trying to figure out what was wrong!

Hey Paul, I am A new using on Captivate and I watch your video and they helped me a lot. I am trying to do Video Demo with my MacBook Pro but its says Webcam is Busy, how do I fix that?

Thanks for the demo. I was using Adobe Video Presenter Exrpess, because of the screen recording and webcam recording possibilities. I also liked how after it recorded I could choose which view I wanted before rendering. So it is interesting to see how Captivate works. I am glad that one can record both the screen and webcam. After recording can one choose at time only to show the screen and only show the web cam? That like I mentioned is the big draw for me to Video Presenter Express. But I like Captivate's other features too.

Hello, I just hit the bell. I have a question what is the best adobe that can change the speaker<s voice to another accent that sounds more native? I know that audition and premier pro can convert text to voice but i am looking for voice to voice. thank you for your efforts.

Thanks for this helpful video. But... Are you aware of the problem "camera is busy", in response to the selection of any camera (facetime or any extern camera) so it becomes impossible to record your image while presenting? Seems a lot of people having this issue with their mac. ... and Adobe techs aren't able to fix the bug. I'm using Mojave with either a Mac pro or a Macbook pro and I have the problem with both.

buenas tardes profesor, quisiera saber como puedo quitarle el sonido de los clics a las diapositivas cuando hago un proyecto en cuanto a simulacion de software, de igual modo quisiera saber como hago para que al activar la opcion de zoom, esta no solo quede estática, sino que por el contrario aumente la zona de movimiento y pueda ver ampliamente los movimientos realizados.

Hey Paul - I just discovered you and my mind is blown. I have been using Captivate for almost three years and basically taught myself. So very basic skills. This video is a game changer. Is there any way to edit a video demo - like remove portions of it if you made a mistake or something didn't work right. One of my biggest challenges is making a demo of something and getting an error or a pop up ruining it. If you already have a video on this I apologize I have only just started watching them.

Hi Paul, I need help with a few bumps I've come across and I was hoping you may be able to shed some light. I recorded 4 demo videos in AC2017 for work with narration and all. This week I upgraded to AC 2019 and now there are seconds white space in the videos, odd and in some cases, the speed of the mouse is really slow then speeds back up. Very odd. Any idea of what this may be or how can I solve this issue without having to re-record the 4 entire videos? I'm on a time crunch. I appreciate your help.
