I decided I want a career change (after working in local government for over 5 years) and I've started The Odin Project alongside a Udacity Intro to Programming Nanodegree. Since I already paid for the Udacity course, my plan is to finish it and then go straight into TOP. I've heard such wonderful things about it. Thank you so much, lots of inspiration you are giving here. I started the Odin Project but some how got stock after setting up my virtual Machine (VM) on Windows. Some of the command lines on the Linux VM were not functional or responding. A good example was when I tried to install an app and it required my password. When I tried inputting the password it didn't work. Working with the Discord community was one of the the best thing in the Odin Project. The response time to questions and the willingness to help was just something extraordinary. Presently I need help with the issues on my command lines, also I would like to know if I have to continue with the VM after the Project. Will I be able to replicate all that I learnt in the Odin Project on Windows?
