This weapon is still great with or without the nerf. As a newer player picking it up, it still manages to do a great job doing what it does.

I love how this weapon stays true to both parts its name it heals really fast and builds Uber really fast and when healing Scouts rocket jumping soldiers / sticky jumping demos you go really quick not to mention it's Uber charge is healing at ludicrous speed

Honestly this medigun definitely has a place. Sure, it can't invuln, but its uber is good for _undoing_ severe damage, not preventing it like stock, plus the knockback resist is great for pyros and even good for sentries. I find its fast healing is great for coordinated attacks involving several teammates as it means you can heal them more quickly. This "heal and move on to the next" playstyle compensates for the reduced overheal.

thats crazy that you can uber with briefcase and the fact that this charges twice as fast as stock and not just 10 percent. this is almost a direct upgrade from stock

In x10:
1: when you use über, you and your healing target will not leave a single scratch, except getting backstabbed or getting killed by a sniper in the face.
2: You heal your friend that has 1 hp to their maximum hp almost instantly
3: you can outsmart the Nerf and you gain über so fast
4: who needs overheal?

That satisfying feeling when you and a demoknight take the flag and you rush with him to cap it in...

This medigun's Uber will increase the amount of healing done with the quick-fix by 300%, and any movement impairing effects, along with knockback, are ignored. It also allows the medic to mirror both blast jumps and shield charges of his heal target. It also heals faster, and has a slight increase in ubercharge rate. However, maximum overheal is decreased by half.

This demonstration has been redone because the ÜberCharge rate was reduced to +10% (from +25%).

I think the Quick-Fix backpack should be a cosmetic since it looks so good

I never knew I could pick up a fallen Medi Gun to preserve the Übercharge.

Quick fix: The medigun made for pocketing people

I always wanted this bad boy and I just got it! :D
it's awesome! but I hate that it's Ubercharge doesn't make you invincible like the others.

In all mediguns you have same speed as your patient if patients speed is under 100% (Normal movement speed) It doesnt affect medic in speed penalty
Quick fix exclusive: Allows medic to rocket jump with demo or soldier by explosive means

Definitely the best medigun plz don't nerf

The people in the comments crying about the slap on the wrist this got as a nerf just proves that much of the community can be as clueless as valve in regards to game balance. It still builds pretty damn quick because it never reaches the 142% overheal threshold where Uber build rate gets cut in half, that will always make this the easiest medigun to build with because you have to worry alot less about optimally healing while on a timer.

I love to run quickfix with the overdose for quick heals and quick getaways. At full charge you have great survivability being able to run almost as fast as a scout and heal off most damage.

Because you aren’t relying on hitting (missing) your crossbow, It’s the most consistent and laid back medic loadout, especially in pubs where your heal targets are too reckless to survive on their own and too panicked to make good use of uber/kritz.

The only thing stopping this from dominating the game is the existence of random crits.

Ah, the quick fix, the best thing if you are healing multiple people instead of pocketing a single soldier
