This is one of the best I have seen, Welldone Uchenna. Was expecting to see the normal ending we normally see in nollywood, Forgiving and taking back as if nothing happened and honestly is tiring because it can’t be so always, Sometimes will need to make certain decisions to Love ourselves more than any other thing. I really enjoyed this masterpiece. Like Clinton said make them no kill you for your mama and papa o. At a point I was like what if she had died from all the beatings, what if she has lost and damaged her womb from the constant miscarriages. Hearing another woman moan for your husband in your matrimonial room and bed Is not fair at all. Kudos to all the Cast, you all nailed your roles perfectly . This is a 100/100.

Obinna ( sorry if I’m writing it wrong😭)played a huge role in freeing his aunt from this marriage. Even though he tried to sympathize with his cousin, he understood what he did was unforgettable and stood by his aunt in that last scene with Julia, and throughout the movie. He may not have known it but he gave her (his aunt) the strength and the validation she needed to realize that she didn’t deserve to be treated like that and stand up for herself. Sometimes domestic abuse victims get so abused that they forget themselves in the abuse hence people like Obinna are a huge stepping stone for them, like sunflowers to dying butterflies. I know it can be emotionally draining to be there for a victim that still in an abusive relationship but I beg you all to stick by them if you know one and be their Obinna, make them realize they deserve better, and their abuse doesn’t define them. One day they will build up enough strength to leave, and I sure hope that it won’t be when they are buried in a coffin.

Phenomenal performance by all of these amazing actors, they made the script come alive to the point were I was in pain watching this. Wondering how could one do these things to a person they claimed to love? How could love make a woman let herself be treated like this? How can we as a society raise men like Obinna? For actors to be able to raise these questions says a lot about how they are as actors. I mean the scene of her praying while they were committing adultery, her revenge, the last scene of her letting him know how he has hurt her? I mean Wowww.


Clinton’s acting, his anger, his boundaries in respect to his relationship with Julia, amazing. His acting skills are phenomenal. I hope he keeps growing, and playing roles out of his comfort zones.
