The Things I Wish I Knew Before Studying Psychology

When I think back to applying to university I thought studying psychology would be a fairly straightforward process which mirrored my A level experience (hahahaha). In reality there was so much that I was unaware of and I'm shocked that these things aren't made common knowledge to prospective students! So this video outlines a few important things which I think you should know before studying psychology. If you enjoy the video then please don't forget to like, comment and subscribe! LEJOG9 CHALLENGE:
In 2021 I will be taking part in a virtual challenge in which I will walk 874 miles (1406 km) from Land's End to John O' Groats. During this time I will be attempting to raise money for Cystic Fibrosis Trust (alongside some of my family), a charity which is very close to my heart. It would mean the world if you could follow and support my journey through social media and click the link below to make a donation to our just giving page. Thank you!

This video is in tents! Very psychological, indeed. Seriously, you look less stressed and have a fresh glow.

My brother-in-law is a research psychologist at for a university hospital in the states. He went straight through, uni, masters, doctorate, clinical experience, and licensure, without taking breaks. I was exhausted just watching him! But it’s a fascinating field.

I’m glad you are able to have a bit of break, even if it’s just a few weeks, before diving into full time work. I hope you had a great camping trip, I’ve never gone on a solo camping trip. I’d be worried I couldn’t set up the tent by myself 😂
