The howls moving castle book is amazing! I read it in college and still think about it. Love Sophie and Howl.
For Brandon's Sanderson if you like Tress you could try Yumi and the nightmare painter. That one was cute and surprising for me.

The Bookshop is on my favourites of 2024 list, it was so interesting and cosy. It’s definitely a contender for a reread, maybe already next year.

Elantris is a wonderful Brandon Sanderson stand alone book. That's where I started with him and I highly recommend!

I've been loving your cozimas. The journal spread is very nice.

I don't do a 25 in 25, but The Fairy Bargains of Prospect Hill, Sword of Kaigan, Addie LaRue, and Jade City on my eventual TBR. You made me add Alexandria to it as well.

I vastly preferred the Sands of Arawiya duology over A Tempest of Tea. It did take me a little bit to get into We Hunt the Flame but when I did I thought the language was lovely, and I liked the characters and romance. FYI Tea spoils the Arawiya books a little bit.

I quite liked Tress. It made me want to read more Sanderson which I hadn't wanted to before.

Mexican Gothic is really good. Very creepy and atmospheric.

It's been a long time since I read Howl, the main thing I remember is it's not like the movie.

You have some nice picks there! Happy reading!
The Sword of Kaigen is one of my favourite books (and I think Blood over Bright Haven is even better!), Howl's Moving Castle as well. And Tress was a good time too :D
Still need to read Jade City as well :D

oh we have some books to read in common!! Sword of Kaigen, Jane Eyre, Emily Wilde, Dracula, Jade City are also on my 2025 list! Tress of the Emerald Sea and Howls Moving Castle I did read this fall - I'm interested in your opinion once you've read it! 🤗 I also want to read more Brandon Sanderson books next year, Tress was my first one! The spread turned out super cute and beautiful!! 🧡 Hope you'll enjoy all your reads!!

Graceling is so good that I still think about it (and especially the 3rd in the series Bitterblue) even a decade later.

what edition of Alice in Wonderland is that?

I think if you're not already familiar with Brandon Sanderson then Tress is probably a really bad place to start.
The secret projects are not a good representation of his work.
Mistborn is probably a better place to start.
