Narciso Lopes was born in São Vicente, island of Cabo Verde and migrated to Portugal in the end of 70s because of the political situation, he continued here his football player career, but in 1980 he definitely moved to Italy in Rome and pursued his music talent.
The struggle of being an immigrant in a strange land led him to express his feelings and frustrations in an extraordinary musical outcry, directed especially to his compatriots, to make them realize their full potential on this world and to revive their soul with their traditional music renewed now with the electronic instruments, before unimaginable and now finally available.
