Finding the Way to Zero: Recreation Therapy

Recreation Therapy uses treatment, education and recreation services to help people with illnesses, disabilities, and other conditions to develop and use their leisure in ways that enhance their health, functional abilities, independence and quality of life. At Memphis VA Recreation Therapy staff work with areas of Mental Health, Polytrauma, Geriatric Care, Chemical Dependency, PTSD, Home Care, and many other programs.
