La Roche Posay Cicaplast Baume B5 Review

This reparative balm forms a protective barrier over the skin, shielding it from external aggressors while delivering essential nutrients deep into the epidermis. Its lightweight, non-greasy texture absorbs quickly, leaving behind a comforting veil of hydration. Whether you're dealing with chapped lips, rough patches, or post-procedure sensitivity, Cicaplast B5 Baume provides immediate relief and long-lasting comfort.

La Roche Posay Cicaplast B5 Baume Ingredients

Panthenol (5%): Also known as Pro-Vitamin B5, panthenol acts as a humectant, attracting and retaining moisture within the skin. It promotes skin hydration, helps to improve elasticity, and supports the skin's natural barrier function.

Madecassoside: Derived from the Centella Asiatica plant, madecassoside is renowned for its soothing and anti-inflammatory properties. It aids in reducing redness, calming irritation, and promoting skin repair.

Glycerin: A highly effective humectant, glycerin draws moisture from the environment into the skin, keeping it hydrated and supple.

Shea Butter: Rich in vitamins and fatty acids, shea butter provides intense nourishment and helps to restore the skin's lipid barrier, preventing moisture loss.

Using Cicaplast Baume B5 With Retinol

For enhanced hydration, layer Cicaplast B5 Baume over your favorite serum or moisturizer. Its gentle formula makes it suitable for use alongside other skincare products, including retinol treatments and exfoliants. Incorporate it into your daily routine to amplify the benefits of your existing skincare regimen and achieve optimal results.

I do slug with it and it has been so good for my rosacea prone skin. Loved the tip about applying on the nails. Great video as always.
Thank you :)

My skin barrier literally was damaged 3 weeks ago due to new product application resulting to itchiness, breakouts all over the cheek and dryness. My only solutions were using snail mucin essence, moisturiser and cicaplast la roche posay day and night. (Not forgetting sunscreen day time). After 2weeks of using those products that were mentioned, my skin barrier was much more better, breakouts were gone and no more itchy skin. Currently i’m focusing on pigmentation and acne scars.

It’s the best moisturiser on the market and a very reasonable price… I have rosacea and it helps with the dry skin.

My dermatologist gave me samples of the new formula (B5+) because i got burned scars from boiling hot oil in my stomach area and my belly button, it was obviously super inflammated, blistering and was just so bad. IN JUST A WEEK, believe me or not... my skin is regenerating back, the blisters are gone, the peeling dead skin was painless, it's 90% healed. And at night i used it too for my face and its amazing, my skin has always been dry and i woke up plump, the red irritated part is gone, it's just amazing. But again i guess it's all depends on each individual and on me it works effortlessly!

I have used Cerave moisturizing lotion for years but i wanted to try something new. Opted for this one and i was blown away no joke. It’s the best on the market right now. My skin has never looked better!

I have oily skin, but my barrier is currently very damaged. Should I use this product until my skin heals, or can I continue its use afterwards as well?

I literally got this cream 2 days ago after seeing other dermatologists recommend it in old videos, so its a weird coincidence that you just made a video about it now.
I used it 2 nights and 2 mornings and I already see my skin is healing so much! I have much acne and after I pop it I get red scars and this cream is healing them soo quickly! I have not seen any other cream heal so much so quickly! I also didn't get ANY new acne today morning like I usually do.
Although I should mention I am also eating a pantothenic acid vitamin supplement which is supposed to help acne so it might be working well too, but when I took it with a different moisturizer I still got acne, so maybe its both working together.

I've been using is this for 1.5 years as my moisturiser (had severe acne and eczema on my face and I took very long to get my face to adapt to adapolene) but its been 1.5 years and I've been using adapolene with no issues daily for 5 months, still have a tiny bit of acne, I've been wondering if I should now change to a lighter moisturiser . is it normal to keep using this as my moisturiser lol?

My skin barrier is damaged most of the times. Because I'm into cosmetics and I apply, try products constantly. But now the damage is on another level I have huge red bumps, texture, I feel sad touching my skin it almost hurt. Pimples are itchy and they also hurt. I finally bought cicaplast and it helped my nose area already. My skin is dry and very sensitive btw. Especially sun ruins my skin
