I mean I think Khamzat deserves it tbh, But I personally don't have a problem with Sean fighting DDP and Khamzat getting the winner, I think if Sean wins, Him vs. Khamzat will draw more attention than Khamzat vs. DDP simply cause there's some history between the two.

As much as I admire Sean's talent and his brash rants on Twitter - it comes down to who is going to sell more and get more viewers. The UFC just had their event in Abu Dhabi where all of the Russias and Muslim fighters absolutely dominated with exciting performances. Meanwhile Sean keeps on promising huge battles but ends up in sparring sessions until the last round.

I had Sean 3-2 against DDP but it was close enough that it could go either way. I don’t think Sean deserves to have a shot after Khamzat finished Whittaker like that. Sean is good but his style is going to make it hard for him to stay at the top since he has limited abilities to finish fights. Sean can go after Khamzat has his shot. A fight with Caio for Sean would be a good next fight.

personally, i think that khamzat should get the title fight because, let's be real, he would absolutely destroy Strickland. And as you said, his win over Costa wasn't as impressive as khamzats win against whittikar. And Stricklands gonna get that title shot eventually. When khamzat beats ddp, Strickland would obviously be next in line

But at the same time, I don't have faith in Khamzat making it to the cage when the time comes. There are so many hurdles that he needs to jump to make it to fight night.
