A United Launch Alliance (ULA) Atlas V rocket carrying the Lucy mission for NASA lifted off on Oct. 16 at 5:34 a.m. EDT from Space Launch Complex-41 at Cape Canaveral Space Force Station.

When I first read up on the Lucy Mission, I was very impressed, the work, the dedication, the science, the engineering that has gone into this - where Lucy is going, the duration and what its going to accomplish will further our understanding of our system and whats in it - Go Lucy - God Speed.

The slow motion is the best part. I wonder how many hot dogs you could steam on the launch pad at liftoff 🤔.
