I'm probably a little more pro-nuclear than you but I'm looking more toward the SMR's which it appears will be ready before the full adoption of solar. However we definitely agree that an overall solution must include home solar. Too bad NEM3 is going make such a huge dent in that growth.

average build time is 9.4 years including projects that were paused for decades the world average today is about 8 years not that long

I've been a huge fan of micro nuclear ever since I learned about it. I've considered putting one on my property if I can ever afford one. Municipalities need to take notice of them and consider them for future energy needs.

There is the idea of small nuclear plants that could be effective and sectorial, mitigating cost and longevity risks

Havent there been studies on how there isnt enough materials on Earth for every home to have Solar and Wind Power? Or am I wrong.

Small scale Nuclear is a lot more viable .. smaller footprint and quicker to permit/ build/ commission.
