As a non american spectator, I will never understand why Bernie never got enough support from the democrats.

From where I see it, he is a smart, well spoken, sharp, experienced and charismatic man, and he literally gave the younger generations reasons to be hopeful and get involved in politics in a clear and direct way.
This happened in Chile too, people seem to be under the impression that left leaning leaders are capable of turning our countries into Venezuela as if they had the faculties to do so stepping over millions of citizens and opposing politicians...

I really hope Bernie's ideas keep inspiring young people to participate in the future.
