Malawian women in agriculture

In some African countries it is very common that farmers welcome you by dancing and singing songs. They start as soon as they see their visitors at the horizon. The songs usually carry serious messages about how farmers can adapt to climate change. Often these songs are written by powerful women and shared with several communities.

The “Intro to Sustainable Development in Practice” e-course is a four-module learning experience developed in the framework of the @undp and @unep’s Poverty-Environment Action (PEA) programme. It sheds light on why poverty and environmental problems should be addressed in an integrated way.
