A suggestion; for small quanties at home, marinading in a plastic bag with the air pressed out has given me good results overnight in the refrigerator😁

Chef can I ask what the difference (if any) there is between a shaslik marinade and a tikka one? They always taste slightly different whenever I order one in a restaurant yet my local BIR chef is adamant that he uses the same.Could it be the onions and peppers that are cooked with the chicken changes the flavour in a shaslik?
