Join us to explore the critical topic of ageing in the anaesthetic profession and to discuss effective strategies to support our senior colleagues while ensuring patient safety and care quality.

Intended learning outcomes:
- To define who is an ageing anaesthetist and why this issue is important to the anaesthetic community.
- To assess the structure of the workforce and different retirement policies
- To explain cognitive, competency and patient safety issues related to the ageing professional
- To discuss possible strategies to protect the high standards of care, human rights and dignity of the ageing anaesthetist.
