I am a backer of the G3X (current Goovis Kickstarter campaign) BUT I prefer the Max as to me it looks a much better build quality with better optics of 5k / 120 fps support, wider screen of view (65 degree / 1000 inch) over the g3x being 52 degree / 800 / 4k / 60 fps. Just one small problem being a difference of over $1000 ($800 AUD) The g3x looks much more compact though so I am really stuck between a rock and a hard place in a decision.

Interesting product. Appreciate the review. How would they perform as a FPV headset connected from the goggles to the cell phone?? Is there a configuration process for this type of viewing?

Aside from the G3 Max, which Goovis headset would u recommend the best for drone FPV viewing. @ $1, 200 dollars, the Goovis G3 Maax is a bit out of my $$$ range.

2, 5K per eye doesn't make it 5K, that's not how it works.
Advertising like this makes me very cautious to buy there stuff.
