Показать описание
One of the key characteristics of projects is the 'progressive elaboration'. When we start projects, we start with the high level scope, and as the project progresses, we gain mode details about the scope of the project. Projects can be categorized into two broad categories. Engineering, Procurement and Construction (EPC) projects as well as Engineering & Construction projects which has very negligible amount of procurement activities involved. When the engineering discipline of the project does not allow for changes, we follow waterfall model, and of the engineering discipline allows for easy changes we follow the Agile, Adaptive, Incremental, Iterative, Rolling wave models. After watching this video lesson completely, you will be able to;
1) Appreciate the progressive nature of projects
2) EPC & E&C Projects , and their differences
3) Waterfall model
4) Agile / Adaptive / Iterative / Incremental / Rolling wave models
5) Hybrid model
6) Scope base line
7) Tools and techniques used for scope definition

The tools and techniques for scope definition are;
1) Interviews
2) Questionnaires and surveys
3) Brainstorming
4) Bench marking
5) Rapid prototyping
6) Building Information Modeling (BIM) etc
