I used to go crabbing from the dock. Just the open basket with chicken tied in it.
As the sun sank and the tide went out, the shrimp would start feasting, but always escape. That's when it was time to break out the cast net and cast over the crab baskets.
It didn't take long to fill a five gallon bucket of shrimp! Crab and shrimp boil the next day was always a hit!

I have been a subscriber since you first started posting, and have watched and enjoyed most of your videos especially the fishing videos. You have always used landscape mode which I have liked, but portrait mode not so much (not at all), too much black on both sides. Keep up the good work.

Throw a net myself use a different method … it’s a great way to get bait .. but very frustrating to learn .. it’s like lacing your shoes .. eventually you do it without thinking about it ..

What I would like to know is what someone else said has something similar: how can I get the tangles out of my cast net if I’m the only one there? I don’t have someone helping me pull them out like you do, in this video. I don’t even own a cast net right now because of how expensive they are. I mostly try to use artificial when I go fishing, anyway, because I believe that’s true fishing is in my opinion. But eventually, I’m gonna go somewhere where the fish don’t bite on lures, and everyone beside me has live bait, I’m gonna be lost! I’m gonna need live bait, but if I can’t even pay for a cast net, buying live bait to me when I could get it, myself would be much better for my income in the long run.
