How to use IPerf3 to test connection bandwidth between two devices such as PC and Server PC. I am using IPerf to check the connection between my personal workstation and my back up server.

Thank you for this. I watched a few other videos before this and couldn't understand the directions that you made clear. I was able to run the function from one device to the other for my first time using iperf. Thank you!

for single ethernet port of 1gbps, it makes sense to measure approx 9xxmbps. however motherboard with 2 ethernet ports of similar capability, iperf3 measures only 8xxmbps each. any reason why this is the case as individual ports should support 1gbps by default. any contention in running parallel iperf3 but segregated by different ip for each of the ports?

I tested a USB antenna and it just gives 240 Mbps when the brand saids its at least 500 Mbps, well at least is better than the stock broadcom, even via ethernet, i may have a bad setting, unless that having the iperf exe in an hdd change the test's but i supposed it ran from ram.
