If you define zeta to be the new variable whose constant set defines an orientable manifold y=y(x), then wouldn t d(zeta)/dx / d(zeta)/dy = -y'(x) which in turn is defined to be B(x, y)/A(x, y). So when you replace u_x and u_y by u_zeta and u_eta the vanishing term should be u_zeta not u_eta, you said otherwise while going over the theory i believe.

Sir what if when we take ita =y and the Jacobian turns out to be xy / x / y (as in the determinant is a multiple of x and/or y in that case do we have to change ita Or proceed as you told in the video
