I was just thinking of him and this popped up. I had heard that he had the surgery but the pain--great pain--continued. Then he did what he did. As someone who has the same spinal problem and pain and facing surgery to supposedly cure it, I think of him a lot. May he rest in peace.

Saw him at a small bar in St.Louis in the 80's. Him and the rhythm guitarist looked high A.F. the show sucked. It was so sad to see. Loved him with Fleetwood Mac. Hypnotized one of my all time favorite songs..RIP Bob

This was so Heartbreaking 💔, I have been a long tome fan, since a Talent....I don't think he got the credit he deserved, with Fleetwood Mac...He wrote " Hypnotized " in 1973.. it is on the " Mystery to Me " Album. " Sentimental Lady " was on the " Bare Trees " Album , in 1972( Fleetwood Mac) .
He re- recorded this Signature Song, in 1977. ( " French Kiss " Album )..
He also had another Hit Record, " Your Precious Love ", released in 1979. ...It's one of my favourite Songs by him.

RIP Bob Welsh . You saved FMac . Your masterful songwriting and guitar playing on the four Fleetwood Mac LPs which you played on, helped elevate the band and get past losing Peter Green . Bare Trees, Penguin, Mystery to me, and Heroes are Hard to Find, was a hugely creative and productive era for the band . Thank you for the GREAT music you left us ! You deserve better recognition than you got . You are loved and missed.

Great song. I just love the picture on the album cover😊 I wasn't aware he committed suicide. We've lost so many great musicians that way😢
