I love, love, love these shoes. Not for hiking though. These make AMAZING shoes for golf. Great traction, super comfortable, and keep your feet bone dry. The speed lace system works great also. They look nice too, on the course and off. Hope Solomon continues to make this shoe.

Does it slip on wet surfaces in the city?

Have you done a long term test now? The previous non GTX model got holes in the fore foot flex very soon in first 150 miles. The blast has those extra pieces of material I guess to prevent that.

So I do a lot of outdoor stuff, hiking, camping, flyfishing. I’m looking for something that is an all around shoe. I have boots not looking for a boot but a shoe I can use as every day use. You think this would be ideal? This will be my go to shoe for my outdoor and fly fishing trips.

I run mostly on gravel, but sometimes I come across some asphalt. Are they good for harder surfaces and in dry conditions?
