Funny thing about calling Ozil lazy is that if you look at the running stats the dude was always in the top 3 for every game. He made us look better than we were. For him to produce such memorable moments whilst mostly surrounded by cows was something special. For me, he was one of the greatest players to wear this jersey.

Ozil in his prime would definitely elevate this current squad. I like Odegard, I like his work rate but I'd still pick Ozil over him, Ozil had that superb vision, he could split a defense with one single pass on any given day, Odegard has shown glimpses of that but not enough to be at the level of Ozil.

I thought he was a good player who had flashes. He was never as good as someone like Di Maria who was his teammate at Madrid
