"The Manger of Bethlehem" is a new Christmas carol by composer Rob Gardner.

Boy soprano soloist: Josh Mortensen
Spire Chorus
London Symphony Orchestra
Conducted by Rob Gardner

LYRICS (by Josiah G. Holland):

There's a song in the air! There's a star in the sky!
There's a mother's soft prayer and a baby's low cry!
And the star rains its fire while the beautiful sing,
For the manger of Bethlehem cradles a King!

There's a tumult of joy o'er the wonderful birth,
For the virgin's sweet boy is the Lord of the earth.
And the star rains its fire while the beautiful sing,
For the manger of Bethlehem cradles a King!

And we look to the star while the beautiful sing
To the manger of Bethlehem.

We rejoice in the light, and we echo the song
Coming down through the night from the heavenly throng.
And the star rains its fire while the beautiful sing,
For the manger of Bethlehem cradles a King!

Rob Gardner was my teacher in church and he shaped the way I saw the world, Christianity, and Jesus. I will never be able to repay him except to say Thank You.

I used to think that Rob Gardner is the new John Rutter or Mack Wilberg. But I was wrong - he's the first Rob Gardner. wonderful, simple and majestic. Thanks Rob.

I imagine this type of music when the Savior comes in His glory.

I have listened to this over a dozen times and never tire. I keep it close at hand so I can listen to it throughout the year and be reminded of it's sacred and beautiful message. In a world filled with chaos, confusion and so much that is ugly, what a blessing to have such beauty to lift, inspire and remind us of the gift of our Savior Jesus Christ. Thank you Rob Gardner, the talented Spire Chorus, London Symphony Orchestra and last but not least, Josh Mortensen.

I get goose bumps when I listen to this beautiful Christmas Song by Rob Gardner. and sung beautifully by Josh Mortensen, When I need a spiritual lift, I watch Rob Gardner's composition of
"Lamb of God". So beautiful. How I miss concerts of Cinematic Choirs & Orchestra since I moved to North Carolina. They are truly the best!

This is so special. The music is wonderful and the video is the best I've ever seen on the Nativiy. First time I've ever seen Joseph as the real man he must have been.
