This album was fundamental in shaping my musical taste. I hanged around with punk/skater guys at the time who listened to Offspring, Rancid, NOFX, Bad Religion, Pennywise... Then, one of these guys showed me this and I was immediately hooked by the first song's riff. "This is way cooler than punk", I thought. Then, it was Rage Against the Machine, then Korn, then Fear Factory...

Just the name alone takes me back to 4th grade (1999/2000). My teacher encouraged us to bring CDs to class to listen to and my friend Zach brought this one. I think I brought an Offspring CD, lol. Let the feeling old commence!

The enigma that is this awesome and heavy record… (Cali-punk/“metal”- kinda starts to fall into nu metal but not at all, but his vocals kinda remind me of Mike Patton) and the band pre-Fly and also the Stand and Deliver cover and then completely change like the record label just said, hold up 🤑🤑🤑 we got chu brah.
