The deputy leader of Hezbollah said in comments broadcast on Tuesday the group had "moved beyond" painful blows inflicted by Israel, as Israeli forces began ground operations in the southwest of Lebanon, expanding its incursions into a new zone. Qassem said Hezbollah supports efforts by Lebanon Parliament Speaker Nabih Berri to secure a ceasefire. It was the first time that the movement did not explicitly link a halt to hostilities in Lebanon with a ceasefire in Gaza, though it was not clear whether this signalled any change in stance. FRANCE 24's Irris Makler reports from Jerusalem.

He’s been saying a lot, how many Israelis has Hezbollah killed? He also said he wants Berri to negotiate a ceasefire, and that he is the big brother whose wisdom they will head. They are know they are screwed and want a way out. It just better click bait when to say they are defiant, they are not.
