Apparently the bomber sights in the b 29 were super advanced. Accounted for lead wind range, everything you could think of. They let defensive gunners effectively shoot down fighters up to 1km away. Wish they had somethint like this in war thunder.

Pro tip, I know I takes time but try to climb high with bombers, usually dopamine looking fighters won't be concerned to chase you cause they need time and patience to climb

There should be a sky battleships event/gamemode thats just bombers and other large aircraft with turrets trying to shoot eachother out of the sky, it would be so cool and so fun

The key to winning with the PB4Y2 is to fly at tree top level. It has no belly gun so if you’re flying high you’re a sitting duck for any fighters coming up at you.
