I just came across this video again . Really enjoyed watching it again . Some of the hardstone artifacts are just crazy cool . I haven't found a complete Banner yet but I'm going too .

I started around 1980 and have been hard core ever sence. Back then you were strange for picking those rocks up. Back then you didnt have to hurry out after a rain you could wait for two or three floods or even the fall and winter then search the campsites in the spring not seeing a single footprint and put a few good ones in your pocket. Back when they plowed the feilds three foot deep kicking the paleo stuff out to lay on top of the ground, Thanks again

@beveledblade It is a piece of a bannerstone, I found both pieces and glued them together. I think the hole is for decoration as it would have pearced the center of cross drilled hole that goes threw banner if it had been drilled all the way. This one came from Rutherford Tn. Thanks

@BandRocks2011 I started collecting around 1980 and couldnt stop. I talked to everyone about it and that led to some good leads along with some kids bringing artifacs to school for me. I spent alot of my allowance and lunch money buying rocks off of the farm boys back in high school. {=;

@BandRocks2011 Hey I couldnt find a way to answer the " was I from TN. "so I will post it here. Yas I live in west TN. and have searched for artifacts from the Tn river all the was into Arkansas, found some nice sites in Ky. also. Thanks

@devonwayne69 Thanks guys, Yes I purchase alot of the items that were shown in recent videos I have posted. If you want a well rounded collection you will most likely have to purchase some items or take long roat trips to hunt relics and then that may not get it. I dont buy alot of relics anymore because of all the fakes out ther. I bought alot of those artifacs at artifact shows. Just be carefull a paper doesnt make it real.as there are fake and bogus papers out there.
