So $50k a year? After two years minimum of trade schooling? People almost make that at McDonald's. But definitely no education or training really needed to make $20 a hour. Just be a hard worker. I have these skills but yet where I live there are very few manufacturing companies anymore since our government passed the fare trades act and also got rid of most Unions..I tried to get into the Operating Engineer training program but they said if you are Over 35 years of age you don't qualify
That is discrimination even thr fire department also said this to me.

We need workforce training programs here in California too. Everything is too expensive, we senior citizens need training to earn a living.
