I have no idea of the language, neither I have heard this songs before. But I believe this is the all time best of covers. Best among all cover's I have come across.
After listening to these I went back to listen the originals, and I couldn't come up with words to appreciate your cover. Such amazing Mix. Proud to have found this. Have heard this 50 time last 2 weeks .still listening.

Though I equally admire Kannada songs and my favourite musicians are Rajan Nagendra, I didn't knew that Illaiyaraja has composed these lovely songs. Kannada is second mother tongue for me.

I am glad that KannaDa songs have inspired a Chennai based band. The efforts of the band have definitely borne fruit. Looking at the description of the video, I felt that the target audience is mainly non-KannaDigas. I am happy for this reason too, as the reach of KannaDa songs is widened by the band.

However, unlike other styles of music, I feel Indian music, including Indian film music, gives immense importance to lyrics. Pronunciation matters since words enhance the meaning of music and vice versa. Here is hoping, the band makes extra effort to make the performances flawless.
