This was beautiful! I lived in Chicago for a while but returned to Mexico after my studies. I loved Greektown and it has changed so much since I left 3 years ago, but for the best. I hope to go back and visit friends. My family is originally Italian but migrated to Mexico (We have many Greeks here as well haha, especially in Sinaloa in the "Valle de Grecia" region so nicknamed because so many Greeks immigrated to this area near Culiacan to work in the olive groves and tomato business), and I wanted to connect with both Pilsen and Little Italy as an Italo-Mexican....Little Italy was a letdown and Pilsen and Little Village is awesome and I discovered Greektown and it felt so welcoming I loved it! But then I discovered Little Tuscany in Pilsen and that got me a little back to my roots, even though my family is Venetian originally haha but in the heart of the Mexican neighborhood so it worked perfectly! Could find my polenta! Can't wait to go back and check out Greektown, it looks so nice now!

We used to go all the time in the early 2000’s and had the best time. We went a couple of months ago and it was totally different. Nice, but not what we used to experience.
