Is Badlion Client Worth Using in 2022?

What is your favorite client to use for Minecraft?

Regarding having to log in into both accounts to play with Badlion, I would say it is to guarantee safety for your cosmetics that you have on your account. (And security for staff as well) However, I respect the opinion anyways.

Badlion client is still my favourite client and will always be. It was the first client i used and seeing the logo always brings back memories of the badlion server. I miss the days where i kept getting destroyed in builduhc every time i queued.

I think the issue with Badlion's font is that it looks too... default. But, it definitely has improved since last year with a few things that Lunar doesn't include. Being able to move the menu around is definitely unique, and you can't forget replay.

The transparency on the glasses is actually a Lunar feature, vanilla 1.8.9 doesn't have skin transparency but newer versions do, Lunar just re-adds it to 1.8.9

I think the only reasons badlion still lives is bacause of the Replay mod, the cosmetic variations and the skyblock mods. If Lunar introduces more variable cosmetics and replay mod, as well as working skyblock mods, they will be the n.1 Minecraft client (period). But the introduction of feather client seems to be very threatening to Badlion as well.

5:04 This is actually default Minecraft, and not a problem with Badlion. 1.7 and 1.8 don't have the translucency feature that newer versions of Minecraft have (it was added sometime in 1.9, I think). Lunar backported this feature in Patch Notes #15, which was nice of Lunar to do. Since most people use Lunar, they probably never even noticed that this was a Lunar-specific feature lol

letting you know intel, oofmod is a mod that allows a sound when you kill a player, and in some versions of the oofmod, you can customize it

Long time lunar client user, just tried badlion after years and now I prefer badlion. I genuinely prefer the badlion text and I can use it in hud modules. Most of the issues you mentioned will affect you once then never again, and the client just has worked nicely for me, and the extra mods can be useful for some players. It also has much more game versions supported.

As a former Badlion user, I think that even though Badlion has a horrible reputation, it's amazing for how it works with low end devices. Of course, if you had a better device, you would use Lunar or even the new Feather Client
This is why clients like Badlion can never be outdated because there's always a quantity of people that have low end pc's

I'd really like it if you reviewed feather client, I remember you talking about feather client and the 1.8-hit-delay-fix mod on stream, and I'd like to see a review on this

The first client I used was badlion and next was lunar and I’m interested in trying out feather client as well! Great vid

Idk if anybody else experienced this but when using lunar client, I get these random disconnections which I never have with Badlion client but then I kinda have to use Badlion because lunar then just randomly stopped working and now I have to resort to Badlion client. I hope you understand my opinion on the 2 clients and I would be a lunar user if I auctually could.

I used to love using lunar, but one day my fps on lunar dropped drastically after the recent update, also, motion blur did NOT work at all, but it seems that it only happened to me and I have no idea on how to fix it. On the other hand, badlion was giving me decent fps and somewhat motion blur, so I had to resort to using badlion until I actually find a way to fix this problem.

That is quite funny because Lunar has always been a worse copy of it until they included their own fps improvements

As someone from the community who has stuck to using both Badlion and Lunar only for the past several years, it would be really neat if I could finally look into another new client. I would really like it if you could review feather client soon. I remember quite a while ago, club client was a client that was going to be released, I still have no idea whether it's in production or not, but it really doesn't look like any other major clients are coming out any time soon.

Been thinking about BLC and Feather a lot in terms of clients. I think BLC has improved a LOT, but I dont think theyre ever going to be back on top soon. From the looks of it, Feather is potentially better than LC, however Feather has almost no chance because of how well LC has made itself.

btw, the BLC font looks wrong to you probably because it sticks out too much from mc in itself. Lunar client is kinda the same but Lunars graphics make up for it and its barely noticeable.
As for clients that would be cool to see you review, Feather Client is litteraly the only one that feels like its trying to aim for lunars spot, so a comparision would be cool (and, if you can, a comparision between pvp lounge and feather). I think it would also be cool if you made a video like this one but for Labymod
