Every trial should be livestreamed. After watching the entire trial I have learned just how badly the media lies through their teeth...and prosecutors are often super shady. I have changed my stance on the death penalty.

The prosecution just sarcastically asked the jury "why would a parent give a skateboard to their kid if it was a weapon".
So is he saying a skateboard can't be used to severely injure someone?

I have to say I love the judge. He seems way more "human" than most judges I've seen before.

This media clip is obviously created by reporters who are ignorant of how Wisconsin law works. I urge anyone who is watching this snip to go and watch the trial themselves.

The prosecution seriously needs to understand gun safety 101, because you never point the gun barrel directly to anyone even unloaded. Just saying this could end up like a Alec Baldwin scenario.

If you're being tried as an adult, I dont see how it would be reasonable to prosecute charges pertaining to him being a minor.
Hes either a minor or an adult. Proceed from There

Crazy to see media distort law & reality with their choice of words, and tone. “Maybe he shouldn’t have been there” yeah, that goes for everybody who was ever hurt or in an accident. You can’t be imaginative, when evaluating a situation like this. The media has gone, purely emotions/imaginative. Honestly creepy, the way they try to affect and influence peoples beliefs by painting these pictures

Self defense is a right, everyone one of us deserves.

"Technicality"

yeah, that's also known as THE LITERAL LAW.

yeah it was him going somewhere looking for trouble, not the mob burning down the city

Four and a half minutes of arguments over jury instructions is NOT highlights of closing arguments. Fire the video clip editor at once..!

They keep accusing Kyle of going there looking for trouble.
I guess those who attacked him, were there for a stroll in the park.
Is course the other guy with the gun wasn't looking for trouble.

Can you propagandists just give us the news, and not your radical, indoctrinated opinions? Please?? Thank you.

The prosecutor should face charges for pointing that gun at everybody in the courtroom with his finger on the trigger.

Barrel length is not a technicality. It is an essential element of the charge and the prosecutor once again shows his incompetence in laying it. Any police witness could have told him that in 1 minute. This prosecutor has an adversarial and disdainful relationship with the police. That only guarantees he will look foolish in court.

If he isn’t acquitted, our justice system is more broken than I think it already is. Scary thought.

Screwy assistant district attorney actually puts his finger on the trigger and points at the helpless gallery! Meanwhile, accuses the defendant (never should've been charged) with recklessly handling firearm!! Complete doofus. Immediately after thee Alec Baldwin incident too. Unbelievable.

People that saw the video and trial: Innocent

People that didn't watch the trial or video: Guilty

In the old days they hung horse thieves. In today’s world they let child predators go. Kyle did all of us a favor.

I find it shocking that, in America of all places, where you're still allowed to defend yourself that this even came to trial. This obviously meets the threshold of self defence as he legitimately felt his life was in danger by a mob. Period.

The prosecution argument:
“If you brought the gun, you lose the right to defend yourself.”
People, this isn’t about Kyle Rittenhouse anymore. They want to set a precedent for gun owners.
