The world has just lost Robbie, his music will live on forever! The song is phenomenal, but Robbie's smile at the end puts a an epic exclamation point on this fabulous piece.

" It just re-affirms that thing that we all believe, that no matter how many things in life that divide us it's never going to be as strong as the power of music to bring us together" Well Said!.

Just at the weekend i was sitting with my family outside in the beautiful weather. My son in law brought out his dot( is that what its called?).I requested it play "The Band". So "The weight " played. We all discussed the band, the song and this video. Three generations listening to one song and found a common thread.I a fan of The Band, my children knew the song and grandchildren really don't have a choice. They hear "The weight " every time they visit me.To see my little baby grandson recognise the music with joy is priceless. If i can leave anything behind in this world i hope i leave how to appreciate, enjoy and love good music and fabulous musicians. Thank you and congratulations to everyone involved in this production. Its a lesdon in itself.☘

This entire series of songs brings tears to my eyes every time one of them plays. I wear my PFC t shirt so often it is perfectly worn! Just wonderful.

Every time I see the video it makes me cry. There are so many Playing for Change videos, but this is the best. It's incredibly moving and it's shared equally among all the musicians in it. The MOST important part is that they bring their gifts to serve the song, not their egos. You can see that they love the song which I think is why it's so poignant for me.
