I love these speakers. Have the 4ohm 6.5 in my front doors. I wanna get 10’s for my rear deck. Would you recommend rear deck or just get them in a box in truck.

so im doing 4 of these but 6.5s (on a taramps 2000x4), 2 prv mr2000 12" midrange(same amp but 2 channels bridged each speaker), 4 ds18 dkh1xs(same amp) and 3 skar audio svr10s(taramps 3000.1) in a 2019 jetta. needless to say this shit gonna bang.(with a 400amp js alternator)

I would like to hear one boxed up properly 8 in and then put a crossover on it so you get a frequency response of 40hz to 120Khz. If boxed and ported properly I think they would sound pretty badass. I'm actually doing something similar in a day or two. I'm taking computer speakers high end that I have but I blew the sub. So it's already set up with the proper boxing and crossover everything I just need to swap out to speaker. Forgot to mention the setup is 8 ohm. Got to go 8 ohm if you want any real volume and a good amp to push those 8 ohms to any and all speakers do you want to amp a different ohm for tweeters no need to spend all that money on it 8 ohm amp. With these speakers I'd highly recommend boxing them up and porting properly even if you're going to put it in your door put a little hole in there and encapsulate that sucker inside the door the back side of the speaker. A 2 in" Port should work fine for a 6 and or 8 in" speaker. When I say insulate behind the speaker I mean just like the video did but just do it behind the speaker and port to kind of make your own little box and you'll get a nice sound with no leak to rattle anything in the door or the door itself.
