Hey guys Joe Teti here with Mr Dale Comstock And so we're going to talk about something you've heard it before maybe maybe not This is really important when it comes into gun fighting and life in general Because you do this every day hundreds of times and you don't even know what the hell you're doing and we're about to explain what's called the Oda Loop Oda Loop I call it Oda Loop call it whatever you want but it's O-O-D-A It's Oda Oda not Oda It's not a U it's an O If I agreed with him we'd both be wrong Alright anyway So it's four letters O-O-D-A observe orient decide and act right.

Risk management is being able to constantly and literally all day people will call it paranoid and those that call it paranoid are victims Guys like us you know we walk through this world we're not paranoid but I'm always thinking about risk management What if a guy jumps out from behind that dimps he dumps it right now with a knife right And I don't have to dwell on it Okay I just think about it It's like okay I'm gonna run away I'm gonna pull my gun out and shoot him Okay pretty simple Okay if I'm driving the car what if or I'm driving my motorcycle what if blows through the intersection What am I gonna do I'm gonna look for an emergency exit

Hypervigilance — the elevated state of constantly assessing potential threats around you — is often the result of a trauma. People who have been in combat, have survived abuse, or have posttraumatic stress disorder (PTSD) can exhibit hypervigilance. PTSD can be caused by a wide variety of incidents.

This is so empowering. A man with down syndrome believes he can defend himself. More power to you strong man.

came to a realization that I’m not even paranoid all the time and that it’s more of a survival instinct now. Gotta learn to adapt to new situations all the time and just because we live in a civilized world doesn’t mean danger has changed. Stay on yo toes mane

What should a guy such as myself do if say a large ambiguously mixed race man (6'7 230Lb) came up from behind me placing his large calloused hands over my shoulders and wrapping around my chest? I feel there is some weapon hidden inside his waistband that is pressed against the middle of my back. Do i turn and try to gain control of his weapon and use it against him?

Being paranoid aka being aware of possible situations has helped keep me alive all this time 💯💯💯

You should try writing things down before you say them out loud

Stop those "what ifs, ' for your health, and peace of mind. If something happens, you would Probably know what to do, unless you are teaching a self-defense class, writing a book on the topic you don't have to do all these 'what if scenarios, ' every Two Minutes, they could have the potential to destroy your good mind.
