After watching this, I have a even lower opinion of Rahul Gandhi.

In school, while learning history, it was quite evident to us that everyone’s contribution was acknowledged and appreciated - irrespective of them asking for clemency. Rahul Gandhi constantly attacks that ethos. As a Maharashtrian, I will tell you attacking Savarkar is like attacking Bose in Bengal. No one is going to appreciate that.

Raul (his real name) was forced to give unconditional apology by the Supreme Court when he was repeatedly lying about Rafale deal and saying Chowkidar Chor hai. Now he says he will never apologize. He is hypocrite of the first order.

By being in Andaman in solitary confinement Savarkar could not do anything for the freedom movement. He wanted to get out by any method that he could use, But British considered him to be the biggest threat and that is why they removed him from public space and kept him under very harsh conditions. They did not do this to Gandhi because Gandhi was calling for non-violence and thus saving the British from being killed or thrown out. Eventually when armed forces started to revolt they decided it was time for them to leave quickly. It is easy for Raul to insult Savarkar. Raul has done nothing for the nation except go around lying (Chowkidar Chor hai on Rafale deal for which he gave unconditional apology to Supreme court) and going around making stupid comments and insulting the nation in foreign lands, apart from the mega scams when his party was in power.

They are an attempt to gain Muslim votes in Kerala, Tamil Nadu, and Karnataka, as well as attract left-leaning voters, particularly in Kerala. There are concerted efforts to portray Savarkar as a British supporter in Kerala, particularly by the leftist Congress and Muslim groups, who view him as the founder of the Hindu nationalist ideology, and also due to the support he receives from BJP-RSS followers.
