Add Easy Glow Tutorial with PROCREATE or CLIP STUDIO PAINT!

After a bunch of people asked about glow, I decided to put together this tutorial and how I paint/add glow to my artwork using Procreate on my Ipad mini OR Clip Studio Paint on my computer! The same principals can also be applied to apps like photoshop!

I just looove adding glow to my art! I tend to just add my glow via a soft, low opacity airbrush, but I like the idea of using a gaussian blur instead! I'll try this method out for your DTIYS <3

Thank you, this was really helpful. I'm new to clip studio paint so trying to create a glow effect was difficult. I was basically wildly flailing and hoping something kinda sorta worked. This has made things so much easier.

In the past I always used light brush and messed around with the Overlay and Color Dodge layers. But your method should help my work look more subtle and calm yet still alluring. Thanks a ton Xd
